JOB DESCRIPTIONS


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to the Celebration Director and other BGEA staff
  • Greets all visitors to the Celebration office, exuding an approachable nature
  • Receives incoming calls and places outgoing calls as necessary, answering questions surrounding the events leading up to the Celebration weekend
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on the current Celebration events and make sure that the information is conveyed in an effective way
  • Ability to maintain composure, professionalism and be able to multitask while adapting to changing conditions
  • Coordinates with Celebration Director to monitor and update Celebration Website information and Celebration Social Media accounts
  • Assists with on-site arrangements for Celebration meetings, including preparations with calendar invites, material preparations and coordinating snacks, if necessary
  • Assists in the maintenance of the Crusade database for the Celebration
  • Coordinates with the Celebration Director printed materials from BGEA Headquarters, fills printed materials orders for daily mailing/shipping, and distributes materials as neededMaintains accurate inventory of supplies, schedules, forms, and other documents and materials, and orders office and shipping supplies based on approved requests
  • Organizes the storage of materials
  • Organizes the storage of materials
  • Oversees all incoming/outgoing freight deliveries
  • Coordinates with Celebration Director and/or Financial Team Leader in handling all financial donations, strictly implementing BGEA Financial Procedures/Policies
  • Ability to calculate and create deposits into the bank
  • Maintains honest and noble integrity with financial funding

Marginal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in set-up and dismantling of the Celebration office
  • Networks the Celebration with other area Christian ministries/events
  • Assists the Celebration Director with other projects

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school education or equivalency required, with some college preferred
  • Previous experience in a comparable support role
  • Excellent organizational skills, with high detail orientation
  • Experience with or capacity to learn software, including Microsoft Office
  • Professional demeanor, and ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
  • Experience with project development and coordination
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively in order to simultaneously fulfill numerous responsibilities
  • Ability to work productively and independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, in written form and orally, with all levels of management
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, completing tasks in a timely manner

  • Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer
  • Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits
  • Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations
  • Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence


Physical/Mental Demands

  • Some heavy lifting required
  • Project a positive attitude and demonstrate excellent customer service, exuding an approachable attitude
  • Ability to function as part of a team while demonstrating flexibility when direction or priorities change, sometimes under stressful situations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to analyze trends and recommend necessary action
  • Working Conditions
    • Work is typically performed in a conventional office environment
    • Travel within local area may be required
    • Extended daily, weekly, and weekend work hours are sometimes required
    • This position is of temporary, full-time nature associated with relevant Celebration planning, event, and closing, and will end thereafter.
