JOB DESCRIPTION


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive P&L performance for the global Benefits business unit, optimizing costs and revenue across brokerage services.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to meet diverse customer needs across multiple employment types and geographies.
  • Partner with product teams to build scalable benefits solutions, focusing on multi-country coverage, cost efficiency, and streamlined administration.
  • Lead with data, using market insights and customer feedback to guide business decisions and product evolution.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and execution, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams.
  • Champion the Benefits business unit's growth initiatives, including new market expansion and strategic carrier/vendor partnerships
  • Provide thought leadership on global benefits trends, including regulatory compliance, innovative benefit offerings, and strategic carrier partnerships
  • Optimize broker networks and carrier relationships to enhance benefit offerings while managing costs
  • Drive innovation in benefits technology integration and administration to improve user experience and operational efficiency
  • Act as a key decision-maker and advocate for the Benefits business within the broader organization.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience across operations and/or human capital management
  • Demonstrated success scaling high-growth businesses and driving P&L performance at senior leadership level
  • Track record of leading complex, global teams in fast-paced, matrixed organizations
  • Strong domain expertise in HR tech, particularly in global benefits including brokerages, is highly valued.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and prioritize effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and levels of seniority.
  • Enthusiastic about joining Deel and contributing to the success of the Benefits business.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a high-growth technology company or startup environment.
  • Familiarity with workforce mobility solutions and adjacent industries.
