JOB DESCRIPTION


As Part of Our team, You Will:

  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders for the region in collaboration with Enterprise Shared Services (ESS) leadership.
  • Manage the quality and service delivery of Outsourced Procure to Pay (P2P) team.
  • Oversee the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider in managing the end-to-end process of requisition creation and purchase order issuance, including onboarding new suppliers, maintaining supplier data, and ensuring alignment with procurement policies, standards, and supplier agreements.
  • Ensure that the BPO provider accurately processes and verifies invoices, matching them with purchase orders, goods receipts, and requisitions, while adhering to agreed-upon service levels.
  • Oversee the BPO provider’s execution of timely and compliant supplier payments, optimizing payment cycles and methods in line with contractual agreements.
  • Identify opportunities for P2P system enhancements and process automation to reduce labor costs and increase internal controls.
  • Oversee the BPO provider in generating and analyzing reports on procurement, invoice, and payment activities, ensuring necessary performance standards are met.
  • Approve POs with value > $10K.
  • Create management reports to identify non-compliance with cost savings initiatives and enforce enterprise and regional P2P policies, while identifying performance problems and risk relative to P2P and proactively performing root cause analysis to eliminate future occurrences.
  • Partner with internal organizations to ensure the integrity and sustainability of the Enterprise. Resource Planning (ERP) Super User network in all regions.

Your Training, Skills and Experience Checklist:

Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or other related experience, MBA preferred.

 

Additional Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of:

  • Global process delivery and outsourced service delivery models.
  • Technologies and capabilities to support P2P service delivery, a demonstrated capability to manage process and outcomes via performance metrics, and an understanding of process, policies and nuances relevant to the Region supported.
  • Knowledge of Ghana’s specific regulatory requirements, i.e., sales and use tax, VAT tax, vendor reporting, etc. relative to P2P ability to establish value-added  working relationships and partnerships with vendors and peers.
  • Understanding of ERP and other relevant technology capabilities to support P2P processes.

Experience:

  • Experience in both project management and change management is essential.
  • Demonstrated deep subject matter expertise in the use and support of P2P SAP/ERP modules, methods and procedures.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in: SAP P2P modules including SAP Ariba Microsoft Office applications: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio) & SharePoint.
  • Practical application of P2P end to end processes. 
  • Project Management (business case development, staffing, estimating, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, and change management).
  • Cost savings and cost avoidance concepts and budgetary impacts.
  • Well-developed people management skills, consulting skills and change management skills at a cross-organization level. 
  • Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to senior leaders.
  • Hiring and developing high performing teams skilled in working in service delivery models that include outsourced and insourced resources.

Your Work Environment:

  • The position is located at our Accra Regional Hub.
  • The incumbent would be required to travel to other local domestic sites as required.
