JOB DESCRIPTION


In this role you will: 

  • Manage the daily execution of cross-border payments and inquiries accurately, adhering to established deadlines and existing policies.
  • Own end-to-end operational support for selected journeys, and engaging with internal business partners for seamless operations.
  • Ensure close interaction with stakeholders and customers, guaranteeing a positive client experience and smooth hand-offs between service and operations.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal communication between front and back office.
  • Investigate, follow-up, and resolve client inquiries and problems through effective communication with clients, banks, and internal staff in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in business processes to assist with corrections and remediations.
  • Be an integral part of a team working towards larger business goals, contributing to individual deliverables assigned to team members.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Executing payment and FX transactions.
  • Monitoring payment queues, tracking and prioritising tasks within the payment queue to ensure timely processing and optimal team performance.          
  • Allocating liquidity for payment processing. 
  • Performing Safeguarding runs.   
  • Communicating with front and back-office teams to facilitate smooth payment operations. 

Skills and qualifications: 

  • Precision in payment processing with a focus on accuracy.
  • Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, meeting tight deadlines through effective workload organisation and prioritisation.
  • Strong collaborator with the capability to engage seamlessly with business partners and staff at all levels.
  • Demonstrated expertise in analytical and problem-solving skills, ensuring effective solutions.
  • Proactive involvement in operational readiness for new activities, collaborating with multiple teams.
  • Efficient multitasker, managing concurrent workstreams while fostering teamwork.
  • Experience in cross-border payments, investigations, and remediations, is preferred but not necessary.
  • Proficient in end-to-end queue monitoring and task prioritisation to enhance team efficiency.
  • Previous exposure to startup or Fintech environments is preferred.
