ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Lead the planning, implementation, and day-to-day management of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, donor requirements, and Orbis policies.
Support implementing partners in the development and execution of Detailed Implementation Plans, budgets, and MEL frameworks.
Monitor financial performance of partners, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and financial policies, flag and address variances with the finance team and supervisor.
Track project progress using established MEL tools, prepare progress reports, and ensure timely and accurate data reporting by partners.
Maintain professional relationships with implementing partners, ensuring technical and operational support is provided in a collaborative and solutions-oriented manner.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities, validate data, and gather insights for quality improvement and reporting.
Collect and draft case stories, success highlights, and field reports to support donor reporting and organizational learning.
Prepare narrative reports and data inputs for internal systems (e.g., Spectrum/Orbis systems), including validation, review, and final submission.
Facilitate regular coordination meetings with partners to review progress, address challenges, and agree on next steps.
Contribute to the preparation of donor reports and fundraising materials as required.
Support the development of new project proposals, concept notes, and budgets in coordination with relevant teams.
Participate in cross-departmental learning sessions, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Coordinate field visits, learning events, and donor or stakeholder engagements, including preparing visit documentation and follow-up reports.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Associate Director or SMT to support program success.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field.
At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in program or project management, including 3 years with INGOs or development agencies.
Strong understanding of the project cycle, budgeting, partnership management, and donor reporting requirements.
Experience with public health or community-based development programs is strongly preferred.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to project sites.

Experience in financial oversight and basic budget management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Competency in data analysis and performance monitoring.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and relevant project management or M&E tools.
