JOB DESCRIPTION


Your key responsibilities would be:

  • Operational Excellence to calendarize, gain familiarity and fully own and manage internal project management, and reporting calendars to core and program donors.
  • Take guidance and briefs on knowledge tasks from SPM and deliver based on mutually set timelines and expectations on completeness, quality and thoughtful insights.
  • Facilitate Stakeholder Engagement and knowledge management: Maintain records of stakeholder interactions, track engagement levels, and support coordination of sustainability initiatives.
  • Post induction, and in discussion with SPM – take over and own identified relationships and meeting organization responsibilities.
  • Assist in Policy Impact Efforts: Support research and documentation of policy developments related to sustainable palm oil. Help in engaging with companies to align their policies with sustainability standards (e.g., ISPO/MSPO/RSPO) and NDPE commitments.
  • Support Market Share Growth: Assist in tracking and reporting on the market share of sustainably sourced palm oil in India and other key markets.

 
Key Challenges:

  • Support market analysis and strategy development within the Landscapes BU, contributing to India's and the broader Asia region's sustainability initiatives.
  • Assist in research and data collection to strengthen market insights and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to support the implementation of regional strategies and value propositions.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for meetings, reports, and documentation related to landscape and market development initiatives.
  • Government and policy engagements for meeting, driving policy conversations, and documentation.
  • Private sector engagement for meetings, co-creating solutions and partnerships.

What you bring

  • A minimum experience of 4+ Years 
  • MBA in Agribusiness/Rural development or related fields, or equivalent through work experience
  • Proven track record of involvement and support in building programs
  • Ability to form communication with stakeholders and clients;
  • Project Execution: proactive and self-driven in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and completing projects effectively.
  • Ability to research, discover and build self-knowledge with directional guidance provided: to  develop understanding of critical global sustainability initiatives and challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English (essential) 
  • Willingness to travel



Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of palm oil business, edible oils industry and supply chain. Including palm and edible oil sustainability issues and certification schemes.
  • Familiarity with field research, data collection and financial analysis of business cases; experience with data management and business modelling.
